Daring Card Makers - Stitch It!

It's time for a new Daring Card Makers challenge and the theme for the week is:

Stitch It!

This could be real sewing or fake - what ever you decide!  I've gone with some a stitched border die around the edge of the image plus I've added a faux running stitch around the edge of the card.  And its a sewing image too!  This one from Jellypark is no longer available, and I've coloured it with Promarkers.  The sentiment stamp is from my stash and I've covered the numbers with left over scraps of patterned paper.

The papers are magazine freebies which I've had for ages and not got round to using plus ribbon, buttons and embroidery thread all from my stash along with the charm.

Good luck with the challenge!  I'd like to enter the following:

Cute Card Thursday:  Celebrate
Creative Playground:  Anything Goes
Sisterhood of Crafters:  Ladies / Girls
Watercooler Wednesday:  All Occassions

  2. What a gorgeous card, Ruth! I love all those wonderful background papers. They seem like perfect pieces of fabric for that industrious seamstress. You've done a wonderful job of continuing the background colours into your image with those Promarkers. Lovely creation and perfect use of embellishments. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
