I've made this cute card using a From The Heart Stamps image which sadly is no longer available.  I've coloured it up with Promarkers (the sentiment came with the image) and had a delve into my stash of printed digital papers and found these from Funky Hand (also no longer available) which fitted perfectly although I had to do a bit of clever joining!

Pancake Paul

Well, I've also been flipping pancakes, but a week early!  I'm not going to get home from work early enough next week when it is Shrove Tuesday, so decided to do them tonight!

I've used Pancake Paul from Dr Digi and coloured him with Promarkers.  I've handwritten the sentiment and then used some old Funky Hand papers (which are no longer available) from the Funky Daze cd that I found in my stash.

A few card candi's and some black fineliner doodling, and the card is complete!  I'd like to enter the following:

Daring Card Makers - Oh Man!

I made a card using a die last week and kept the letters from it to make this weeks card - rather pleased with myself for that!  The die is MFT and I've used Polkadoodles Sticks & Bones papers which I've added onto some DL sized ribbed cardstock and then added card candi to finish it off

I Love Promarkers - Challenge 378 - Ikes Art

We have a new challenge starting over at I ❤ Promarkers and we are sponsored by Ikes Art.  The theme is

No Patterned Papers

I've used this rather cute Ikes Art - Coronet which is a freebie!  I've coloured it up with Promarkers plus a little glitter glue here and there.  I've mounted it on the card blank with foam pads to give it extra depth and for a little bit of interest, I've dotted a line of liquid pearls around the edge of the card.

7th Anniversary

I was asked to make a Wedding Anniversary card and as its their 7th year, it seemed very apt to use Flossy from Dr Digi.  Because 7 years signifies wool!  I've used Promarkers to colour and various dies from my stash for the fence, card base and grass.  The heart is an X cut die and I mounted that and the sign onto some offcuts of kraft card.

Sentiment is computer generated and added with cocktail sticks.  You'll have to excuse the charm not being straight - I clearly did not notice this when taking the photo!  I'd like to enter the following:

Daring Card Makers - Alphabet Soup

It's time for a new Daring Card Makers challenge and the theme for this week is

Alphabet Soup

The main focus is to be numbers or words.  I've used a MFT die to cut out the patterned paper which is from Polkadoodles - Sticks and Bones collection.  I've added some chocolate brown card underneath and then doodled a line around the edge of the papers.  Really simple and quick to make!

Welcome to a new Polkadoodle challenge, the theme is

The DT were challenged to Recycle so I've recycled the reverse of an old Christmas card for the frame die cut.  I've used Ruby Sweet and coloured her with Promarkers and added papers from Fredericka Mini CD collection plus used the wonderful Bubbleicious Frame die.

I've used a small card blank and round the edges I've dotted a line of liquid pearls.  The sentiment is from the Bits and Pieces 6x6 Ephemera Pack, plus a little glitter glue dots here and there and my card is finished!

Colour Crazy Challenge - Week 6 - Knitty Kitty Digis

It's Friday so time for a new Colour Crazy Challenge!  This week we are sponsored by the wonderful Knitty Kitty Digi's and we got to play with the Chicken Balloon Set.

I've used Promarkers to colour the image and I cut away the balloon string and added my own with embroidery thread plus little bows for added decoration.  The backing paper is from Polkadoodles - Winnie Celebrations 1 and I've added a computer generated sentiment to finish.

I've made a card with a specific brief of it being Chelsea Football themed and the sentiment (created on my computer).  so I've used Junior Hatter Belle from Little Miss Muffet (sadly the store is temporarily closed) and coloured her with Promarkers plus a little glitter glue and liquid pearls.  The die cut background has been made with varying sizes and brands of snowflake dies which I've cut from the same cardstock as the cardblank and then added some half pearls to the centres of the snowflakes.

The ribbon and jingle bell are all from my stash.  Good luck with the challenge!

Love A Cuppa!

I do like my cuppa in a morning - a bit of peace and quiet to myself before the rest of the house wakes up.  Well, actually, they usually wake up about 30 mins after I've left for work!

I've used Cuppa image and coloured it with Promarkers and I've used Tea & Bickies Backing papers - I've cut two circles, one large and folded in half to make the rocker base and then a smaller one to add the image to.

I've used Cake and Candles from Dr Digi and coloured it up with Promarkers and layered it onto the embossed panel with foam pads so its got more depth.

The embossed panel has been layered onto chocolate brown and red card - I actually used off cut strips to do the layering so its not a solid piece underneath!  Good luck with the challenge!

Die Cuts or Punches

I've used this fab Stella Love - One Person to Annoy digi, coloured with Promarkers and I've used an X Cut die to cut out and layer the sentiment plus the other hearts.

The papers are from Funky Hand and are no longer available - Just For Jen download; I'm determined to use up all the left overs from older projects to create some more room!  I've doodled a faux running stitch around the edge of the card, image and hearts.

Rubber Duckie

Sometimes you just need a digi in your collection and for me it is this - Rubber Duckie - from Dr Digi.  I've coloured it with Promarkers and added glossy accents to its eye.  Papers are Splash from Echo Park and I've added a faux running stitch around the edge of the card with a fineliner black pen.

Daring Card Makers - February Elemental Inspiration

It's time for a new Daring Card Makers challenge and as it is the first Friday of the month, its time for an elemental inspiration challenge.  The picture is:

Just remember to select three elements (colour counts as one) and to list them in your entry.

I've gone for hot pink, pearls, pins, heart, glitter and stitching.  The top layer of the butterfly wings (Memory Box) has been cut from glitter card but it just does not show too well in the photo.

I have lots of seed beads and pins in my stash so good excuse to use up some of those!  The bottom layer of the wings is cut directly from the card and remains attached in the centre, I've added an offcut of hot pink card underneath for extra depth.
