Colour Crazy Challenge - Week 26 - Anything Goes

I've joined the Colour Crazy Challenge DT!  And this is my first challenge!  The theme, as always, is

Anything Goes

And this week we are sponsored by Oddball Art and I've used this fab image - I'll Cry If I Want To Birthday Party and coloured it with Promarkers.  All extras are from my stash and because it was a Birthday, I just had to add a banner!

Keep Fit Kenneth

Oh, I had a ball colouring this image for a work colleagues recent Birthday.  And I think he saw the funny side!  I've used Keep Fit Kenneth from Dr Dig and coloured him with Promarkers.  I cut him out and then added to the card blank with foam pads for a bit of depth.

I hand wrote the sentiment and made it to look like a podium.

Crimbo Crackers Challenge 135 - Sentiment

It's time for a new Crimbo Crackers challenge and the theme is:

Sentiment

I've used one of the sentiments from Baked With Love Gingerbread download from Polkadoodles, enlarged it to fit a 13.5 x 13.5cm card and then added flowers made with papers from the same download collection (printed on both sides) and cut them with the Flowers 2 die also from Polkadoodles.

I pinched the tips of the flowers to create more depth and added gold seed beads to the centres plus half pearls around the edges of the sentiment.

Beer For Dad

It's another quick card from me today using a Dr Digi image - this time it is Pint - Colour.  Great for when you're in a hurry and haven't got time to colour yourself!

The backing paper is actually part of a card blank from Mr Mister collection and I've used the wooden letters (see previous two weeks posts) as a template on kraft card.  I've added a handwritten tag and then used the same fineliner black pen to add a faux running stitch around the edge of the patterned paper and letters.

Everything else is from my stash.

Polkadoodle Challenge - Anything Goes or Polkadots

Time for a new Polkadoodle challenge!  The theme for the fortnight is:

Anything Goes

However, as you will have guessed by now, the DT are challenged to produce something else, and this one is Polkadots!

I've used papers from Fredericka Mini CD which proves that girly papers don't need to just be used for girly cards!  The letters are my own templates and I've added them with foam pads for extra depth.  I've also added dotted liquid pearls plus silver circle die cuts and the sentiment are Clearly Besotted die cuts.

Seedling For Dad

Another quick Father's Day card and this one is for one of my uncles from his daughter and he is a very keen gardener! The background paper is actually half of a card blank from the Mr Mister range from Dovecraft (I thought it was a paper pack when I bought it!) plus the wooden letters are from the same collection.

I've handwritten the tag and added some dark brown paper twine to the end.  The seedling is an image from Dr Digi which I've coloured with Promarkers.

Polkadoodle Challenge - Anything Goes or Sunshine Yellows

We are half way through the current Polkadoodle challenge which is:

Anything Goes

The DT were challenged to use Sunshine Yellows.  I've used papers from the Serenity download - printing on both sides of the thin card.  I've made a pin wheel embellishment to decorate a gift box.

I've used a template from Lakeland crafts that I've had for many a year, cutting two of the largest and one of the smallest, layering up and securing with a brad.  The box is a Sizzix die cut which cuts an A4 sheet of card.

Crimbo Crackers Challenge 134 - Shaped Card

It's time for a new Crimbo Crackers challenge and the theme for the fortnight is:

Shaped Card

I've made a circular card using a From The Heart Stamps image - Little Snowman, which I coloured with Promarkers plus glitter glue.  I've used a Memory Box die around the edges - I cut up two full circles to make the edging and then added a Sizzix banner at the top once I'd printed the personalised message on with my pc.  Extra snowflakes are from two different punches.

Tea for Dad

A quick and easy card for my Dad for Father's Day.  I've used elements from the Tea Time Set from Dr Digi - one of the backing papers plus the cuppa image.

The wooden letters are a Mr Mister embellishment pack from Dovecraft which I bought ages ago and have been saving them for a Father's Day make!  I've coloured the cuppa image with Promarkers.  Additional embellishments are from my stash.

Happy Birthday Granny

I was lucky enough to win the previous Tiddly Inks challenge and had fun spending the gift certificate! This is one of the images I choose - Whatever Blooms.  I've coloured her with Promarkers and watercolour pencils for the background.

I've used some scrap deep purple card from my stash and used Clearly Besotted dies for the words (I had to cut up other words to make Granny!) and used a non branded metal die for the frame.

Charm and embroidery thread are from my stash.  Apologies for the appalling photo - I took it quite early in the morning as I was in a rush to deliver the card and the light, although sunny, was not particularly the best.
