Daring Cardmakers Guest Designer - Grocery Packaging

This is my last week as Guest Designer for Daring Card Makers - I've really enjoyed the two month stint and I've been taken out of my comfort zone once or twice and I've also firmly been in it too!  Thanks for having me!  This week, the dare is:

Use Grocery Packaging

Now this one had me stumped a little as I couldn't think what to use or how to use it.  Until I washed a pork loin chop packaging from Lidl and realised how nice the middle bit was at the bottom!  So I've cut a shape with the packaging, following the handy guidelines that were already there and added it to a top from a Graze box.

The sentiment rosette I recycled from an old Birthday card and the stars are cut from the Graze box and also packaging from a box of chocolates.  Good luck with the challenge!  I'd like to enter the following:

What a creative mind you have to see the potential in those items. Beautiful colours. Great layout. A wonderful creation. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

  3. How clever to use the pork loin packaging for this unique challenge. I love it when you can use something in a totally different way. Great challenge. I really like how you used the medal and stars to compliment the packaging. Thanks for sharing at the Watercooler Wednesday challenge this week.

  7. There's something of the old-fashioned pint pot about that textured pattern - great recycling for a fab masculine card! Lovely to have had you on the team Ruth, hope we'll still see you around!
