Crimbo Crackers Challenge 99 - Anything Goes

There is a new Crimbo Crackers challenge!  To keep things easy following the post Christmas slump and to keep you in the mood for Christmas all year around (!) the theme is:

Anything Goes

Don't forget that it must be Christmas or Festive related!  There have been some entries recently that have not followed this one rule - I won't delete the entries but no comment will be left for you.

4 Nessie

Nessie from Dr Digi has just popped past to wish a Happy 4th Birthday!  Just perfect for a little boys' Birthday!  Coloured with Promarkers and added to a large shaped number 4 covered with Hairy and Scary download papers from Funky Hand (retired).

Some card candy I found lurking in my stash plus sentiment has been cut with two Clearly Besotted dies from silver card.

From The Heart Stamps Sketch 136

Time for a new challenge at From The Heart Stamps.  I've used the beautiful Spring Medley digi this week, coloured with Promarkers plus used papers from my stash - they were freebies in a magazine from some time ago and I'm trying to use up all the bits and bobs that I have before opening or printing anything new!

The half pearls are also from my stash and I've distressed the edges of the papers with scissors.

The sketch is below - don't forget that you can either follow the sketch or use the twist or both but please remember to use a FTHS in your creation.

To be fair, the sentiment says it all!  Dr Digi Sentiment - Pet Sentiment Sheet 01 along with the ever faithful Caligula.

I've printed the sentiment directly onto kraft card and then cut it out with an X Cut fancy die.  Caligula has been coloured with Promarkers and the wooden stars are from my stash.

From The Heart Stamps Sketch 135

There is a new challenge over at From The Heart Stamps - another great sketch and a twist!  I've used an image that was part of the fundraiser pack from a while ago, printed it onto kraft card and then shaded with a fine liner black pen.

I've used a Spellbinders die to cut out the image and then layered it onto some burlap and cut out the strips from the reverse of a Graze box, half pearls are from my stash.

The sketch can be followed or the twist and as long as you use a FTHS you are good to go!  And for every entry, a $1 voucher towards your next purchase is emailed to you.  Good luck with the challenge!

From The Heart Stamps - Stamp of the Month - January 2016 Reminder

There is a progressive challenge that takes place each month at From The Heart Stamps - if you join in you then receive the next months image for free!  A great way to build up your FTHS collection and you only need to buy the first image!

January's free image is this one - Cozy Kittens which I've coloured with Promarkers plus used printed papers and card from my stash along with ice blue ribbon, half pearls and a big chunky button.

Polkadoodle Challenge - Winter Birthday

We've got a new Polkadoodle challenge starting today and lasting for two weeks and the theme is:

Winter Birthday

So think of those blues and whites, frosty colours!  I've made a Birthday card which is perfect for an avid Blackburn Rovers fan who has just turned 10!  Papers and pre coloured digi image taken from Work and Play Vol 6.  I resized the papers to print A5 size and used my own number templates.  I printed the pre-coloured image to save time and then fussy cut him out and added with foam pads for depth.

Crimbo Crackers Challenge Week 98 - Anything Goes

Time for a new Crimbo Crackers challenge! To keep things nice n easy the theme is:

Anything Goes

It has to be Christmas or Festive themed but other than that - go for it!  I'm sharing a pop up box that I've added some really lush gold glittered and rather sparkly wire edged ribbon (I think it was a bargain 25p B&Q purchase from a few years ago!)  I've also added a lightweight gold star tree ornament plus some tiny fairy lights.

The charms are from my stash and the snowflakes are a Sizzix die plus half pearls added to the centres.  Good luck with the challenge!

Time For Tea

I whipped this little treat tub together for a colleague who is partial to tea and biscuits (lets face it, who isn't?!)  Made using the Tea Time Sentiment 01 sheet from Dr Digi - I've simply added the sentiment over the top of one of biscuit images using the paint application.

The little spoon charms are from my stash and the reverse of the container also has the circle sentiment.  Time for a brew I think!

I've used the fab Faithful Friends Shine image, coloured with Promarkers and added sparkles to the dress and star.  Papers are retired Funky Hand and were just perfect to make it a bright Birthday card!  The word dies are from Clearly Besotted and I had to carefully join individual letters to make up my nieces name.

Polkadoodle Challenge Week 1 - Anything Goes

The current Polkadoodle challenge still has a week left to run and its been an extended one due to the festive break.  The theme is Anything Goes.

I've made another gift card wallet this week but used papers from Twiggy and Toots Festive Fun which I printed onto thick card.  Again, no actual template used - just made it up as I went along!

I've recycled a thick kraft envelope as my base and then added papers from the cd plus the sentiment.  Quick and easy!  The 'berries' are doodle dewdrops also available in the store.

Prezzie

I do like a versatile digi - and what better than Prezzie from Dr Digi - can be used for both Christmas and also Birthday's!  Silver card is from my stash, patterned is a retired Funky Hand digital set.  And I've used Spellbinder and X Cut dies for the shapes and Clearly Besotted for the sentiment.

From The Heart Stamps Sketch 133

We are back with a new sketch challenge with at twist at From The Heart Stamps. Don't forget that you must use a FTHS image but you can either use the sketch or the twist or both!

The image I've used is not yet available in the store as it was part of the fundraiser pack from last year.  I've coloured it with Promarkers and added a little sparkle to the candle flames.  The card i've used for layering is from my stash, along with the ribbons, large button and half pearls.

The sentiment has been cut with a Sizzix tag die and came with the image.

The sketch is below - I used the twist and turned it on it's side.  The gift bag is also from my stash - I bought a job lot from ebay a year ago and I'm still working my way through them!
