Thanksgiving (24 November)
or
Stay at Home Because You Are Well Day (hmmm - tempted!!)
I've gone for Thanksgiving but sort of made it a bit Christmassy as Thanksgiving is not on my radar here in the UK.
I've followed the current Fetch A Sketch sketch (thank you Jenny!) and used papers from a wonderful digi collection from Alison Sloan which I'm not sure is still available but I was lucky when it was first released to have a little play with it - the papers are wonderful and just right for modern vintage! Oh, and have a look at some of Alison's digi kits - primarily for scrapbooking but work just as well for papercrafting - you can find them here - and prices start at $2 - bargain!!
Anyway, I've used my Nesties for the shaping, lots of ink, some fine black dots with a thin marker plus some linen twill ribbon from my stash and the image that I find myself using a LOT is Turkey Lurkey and its been coloured with Promarkers.
So, fancy entering the challenge? Pop over to the challenge blog for more details on how to enter and to see the rest of the Design Team's creations! Good luck!
