Polkadoodles Challenge - Anything Goes or a Gift for Dad

It's time for a new Polkadoodles challenge and the theme as always is

Anything Goes

The DT were challenged to make a gift for Dad.  I've made a gift card holder using a sheet of kraft card from my stash and I've added a die cut tag using the Posydoodles Basics Tag die and the fries are from Work and Play 12 and have been coloured with Promarkers.

The letter D is a die cut from my stash and I've added glossy accents to the top of it.  To finish I doodled a faux running stitch around the edge of the card and tag.  Good luck with the challenge!

Polkadoodle Challenge - Anything Goes or Use A Design Sheet

There is a new Polkadoodle challenge starting this week and the theme as always is:

Anything Goes

The Design Team were challenged to use one a design sheet from one of the collections.  I've gone with Work and Play 12 and all I've added are some buttons and black card from my stash.  The brads on the banner are made with a black fineliner pen and glossy accents, so I cheated a little!

Good luck with the challenge!  For more inspiration, pop over to the blog!  I'd like to enter the following:

Polkadoodle Challenge - Anything Goes or Use A Design Sheet

We're part way through the current Polkadoodle challenge which is:

Anything Goes

The Design Team were challenged to use a design sheet from one of the collections - I've used Work and Play 12.  I printed the sheet out and then cut out the elements that I wanted to use and added a wooden stick to add the pennants to plus some shiny silver star die cuts made using an X Cut die.

Really quick and easy - the hard bit is trying to decide which elements to use!  Good luck with the challenge!  The main image has had foam pads added underneath so that it rests on top of the wooden stick.  The big silver star has also been lifted with foam pads.

Polkadoodle Challenge - Anything Goes or Show Some Love

Time to show off my creation for the current Polkadoodle challenge which is:

Anything Goes or Show Some Love

I've used Over The Threshold digi stamp from Work and Play Vol 12, coloured with Promarkers and added some small playing cards (from a cracker!)  Die cut letters are Sizzix and I've added half pearls, charm and ribbon from my stash.

The card base uses red card from my stash and its a stepper fold shaped which took a bit of work in getting it to stand and not lean to one side so had to weight it properly!

Good luck with the challenge!

Polkadoodle Challenge - Design Sheet or Anything Goes

Welcome to a new Polkadoodle Challenge!  The theme, as always is:

Anything Goes

However the Design Team were challenged to use a Design Sheet.  The Design sheets on each CD (or download) are such good value and you get sooooo much to work with!  The hardest bit is trying to decide which elements to use!  I've gone for Work and Play 12 - Geek Scientist - you can buy the sheet on its own or if you want more, buy the download as you get each character with its own design sheet.  All I've added is some card candi, glitter glue and glossy accents!

I've simply selected the elements I wanted and cut them out before playing around with the layout and then sticking it all down with foam pads for extra depth.

Good luck with the challenge!  I'd like to enter the following:
