Dude Time Doodles - April Fool

It's time for another Dude Time Doodles challenge! And the theme this week is:

April Fool

So, come on - make us laugh! For more details about the challenge and for more theme inspiration, just pop over to the blog!I've gone with an old favourite Dude Time Doodle image - Sashimi from the Fish Set along with a sentiment from the Fin Fisher Sentiment Set 1. I've made my own card blank (I've got a thing for circle cards at the moment!) and used an offcut of paper from my rather large and very overflowing box of bits of paper which is from Funky Hand - Craft The Year Away cd.

Sashimi has been added to the front of the card with a spring so he wobbles about and I've made the hook myself from wire and an anchor punch and attached it under the sentiment.

Good luck with the challenge!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Top Tip Tuesday: Easter and or Animals
Get Hippity With Ippity: Two or more Colours from Palette
Karens Doodles: For A Male
Lawnscaping: Colouring
The Pink Elephant: Clean and Simple

  • Image and sentiment: Dude Time Doodles, coloured with Promarkers
  • Papers: Funky Hand - Craft The Year Away cd
    Everything else: My stash

Fetch A SKetch Challenge 13 - Midway Extra

It's the midway extra post for Fetch A Sketch and a reminder of the sketch for this fortnight:
And our sponsor is the rather fab Dude Time Doodles and Boni is offering the winner a $10 gift certificate! To have a look at the images we've used and to create your own wish list, click on the banner below:
I've used Sashimi from the Fish Set and coloured him with Promarkers. All the papers are from various Funky Hand cd's but the spotty paper is from The Funky One (bargain price at under £6!) and its an offcut I've had in my box of bits for a long long time!

The tiny brads are fake - black Promarker pen with glossy accents over the top - great and quick!

Good luck with the challenge - for more details pop over to the challenge blog!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Kenny K's Krafty Girlz: Anything Goes
One Stitch At A Time: Anything Goes

  • Image: Dude Time Doodles, coloured with Promarkers
  • Papers: All various Funky Hand

The sketch we are asking you to follow this time has been designed by Jenny. And I think we both have a thing for circles! You can rotate it, flip it, resize it and add embellishments or a sentiment where ever you want, just as long as we can see the elements of the sketch. We've also been joined by some of the Dudettes for this challenge, so pop over to the Challenge blog for more inspiration

I've made a card with a sheet of dull acetate (its sort of milky looking) and added the sentiment from the Fin Fisher Sentiment Set with Safmat from Letraset which works similar to a rub on. The image is Sashimi and has been coloured with Aquamarkers and he's been attached with a wobbler thing - I've just not taken a photo of it wobbling!

The waves have been cut using a diecut as a template and its handmade paper donated by Lynsey during her stash clearout! And the star brad is from my stash.

Good luck with the challenge - for more details please visit the challenge blog and enter your creation via the blue frog. Closing date for entries is 12noon GMT on Sunday 24 July and the winner will be announced on Monday 1 August. You can use any of your stash and there is no limit on the number of challenges you can enter.
