It's time to delve back into the archives of Funky Hand and this month it is the fantastic and delicious Minty Madness download that the Funkettes are using!
I've made an exploding box using the papers, Die-Namic flower dies and Sizzix Girls Are Weird alphabet dies. The gems and ribbon are generous donations from my cousin Claire from when she got married nearly two years ago and they matched perfectly! The tag has been handwritten and is also a Sizzix die.
I realised after I'd taken the photo that I'd not attached the top layer to the bottom! So that's why it looks a little wonky!
I'd like to enter the following challenges:
Card Makin' Mammas: Layer It Up
Creative Corner: Green
Rhedd and Rosie: Anything But A Card
Stampotique Designs: Monochromatic

Teenage Girl
And here is the second of the two Jellypark new release digi stamps! This one is Teenage Girl Bedroom Gaming and I've coloured her with Promarkers and cut the oval with my X Cut die. The scalloped edge around the oval has been made with a heart punch as I don't have the die that fits the oval!
The papers are left-over from making a wordbook and its from Funky Hand - Retro Fun wordbook download and I've had to carefully join them together but if you look close you can see the join!
I've added some felt flowers made with my Die-namics rolled die and added some half pearls to the centres. Plus some embroidery thread to help join up the mismatched pattern!
I'd like to enter the following challenges:
Crafty Bloggers Network: Flowers
Creative Creations: Anything Goes
Daisy Doodles: Fresh and Simple
Whoopsi Daisy Challenge: Punches and Die Cuts

Fetch A Sketch Challenge 36
It's time for another Fetch A Sketch challenge! And here is the sketch:
I've gone quite simple with my sample and used a kraft card base and added pearls to each curve point. The strip of paper across the middle (and yes it is actually straight in real life - I didn't quite put the card on the easel straight to take the photo -doh!) is from a Funky Hand cd.
I've added some more half pearls, some organza ribbon from my stash and I've made the felt flowers with a Die-Namics Rolled Rose die set that I have. The stamp was a magazine freebie from a few years ago.
So there you go - a sketch great for a quick card! To enter the challenge or to find out more, go to Fetch A Sketch!
I'd like to enter the following challenges:

The Squirrel and the Fox: Ribbon
Brown Sugar: Anything Goes
CAS-ual Friday's: Clean and Simple with Kraft
Dies: Die-Namics Roses

Polkadoodle Challenge 37 - Ice Cream Colours
Friday's posts are like buses for me - none for a while and then all come around the corner together! New challenge time at Polkadoodles and the theme this week is:
I've gone for a raspberry ripple theme and used various Polkadoodle papers that I found in my stash along with an Emma Canning digi - Millie Birthday - which I've coloured with Promarkers. I've used two of my fancy X Cut dies to create the card shape and also to frame the image.
The fancy swirly dies at the side are Marianne Creatables which have also been cut from Polkadoodle papers (I first cut them with thick card and then layered them up for extra strength).
The rather luminous felt flowers at the bottom of the card are not quite that bright in real life and are a much better colour match than they look! I've used my Die-Namics rolled flower dies for them and I think I'm getting to grips with how to make them although when I try paper or vellum they look terrible, so for the time being I'm sticking with felt!
Good luck with the challenge - for more details, pop over to the challenge blog.
I'd like to enter the following challenges:
Crafts and Me: Pink
Celebrate the Occasion: Shaped Card
Dawn's Crafting: Think Pink
Karen's Doodles: Use Felt
Stamps, Fun, Creativity: Shaped Cards
Catered Crop: In The Pink

In The Pink: Pink and Anything But Square

Dies: X Cut fancy frame, Marianne Creatables, Die-namics
