Simply Create Too Challenge - Anything Goes Midway Extra

It's another busy Friday here on my blog!  This is the first post of the day and is the Simply Create Too Midway Extra challenge for:

Anything Goes

I've used a fab digi from my Simply Create Too team-mate Diane - and I think its called Mommas Button Jar.  It was a free digi which has since been removed from her blog but I'm sure if you ask nicely she will send it to you!

I've coloured it with Promarkers and used papers from my stash along with some real buttons and some organza baby blue ribbon.  I really didn't need to do a lot with the image as it is so lovely on its own!

Good luck with our challenge - for more details pop over to Simply Create Too!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

ABC Challenges:  N for Not Just One - three or more embellishments (buttons)
Really Reasonable Ribbon:  Red, White and Blue plus Ribbon
Southern Girls:  Spots and Dots
Creative Moments:  Circles
Fab n Funky:  Favourite Embellishment (buttons)

Crimbo Crackers Challenge 4 - Embossing

It's time again for another Crimbo Crackers challenge and its upto to 4 already! Where does the time go?! I hope your pile of cards is growing nicely and that you continue to play along with me all year so no stress in November!

I've a wonderful sponsor for this fortnight:
Diane's Digital Designs - and Diane is offering two digi's to the winner of the challenge! I've used one of them in my sample and Diane has used the other - to see the two finished samples, pop over to Crimbo Crackers.

The theme for this fortnight is:

Embossing

So any kind of embossing will do as long as its a Christmas or Festive related creation. For more details on the challenge, please go to Crimbo Crackers (not many rules - honest!)

I've coloured the image with Promarkers and used my Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder for the background. Added a fair amount of glitter glue around the edge of the card and some red ribbon and the card is complete!

I've dotted around the edge of the Spellbinders die cut with a Promarker to give some definition but its a fab image - don't you think?!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Sassy Cheryl's: It's Santa!
Try It On Tuesday's: It's All About The Big Guy!
Di's Digi's: All White Except The Image

And you can use any products too.

I've used papers from Alison Sloan - Sweet Cookie Christmas digital scrapbooking kit and I've distressed the edges a little using scissors. I've coloured the armchair with Aquamarkers and added some twine from my kitchen drawer behind the image.
