Dad's 70th - V is for

I'm back with letter v from the word seVenty!  Part of the card I made for my Dad's birthday earlier this year.  I've used the following images from Dr Digi; Camera, Lava Lamp, Valve Radio and also Bloomin' 70's papers.

All images have been coloured with promarkers and I added glossy accents on the front of the lava lamp.  Tags have been handwritten and I researched the items to get an approximate year of significance.

The large letter V is a chipboard shape which I've coloured with a black marker and the other letters are from my Sizzix Round-A-Bout alphabet die set.  See you next week with another letter!

1977

Sometimes its good to make a retro Birthday card - this one was made for a family member.  I've used images from Dr Digi - Camera, Cake and Cuppa plus one of the sentiments from Comic Sentiments Sheet 01.  All these were coloured with Promarkers.

The backing papers are from Bloomin' 70's papers.  Everything else is from my stash.

Smile

I've made this card for a photography mad (or should that be mad photographer) who will be celebrating his Birthday soon.  Made using the very versatile Camera digi from Dr Digi.  I'e printed it onto kraft card and then shaded it with a black fine liner pen

The charm is from my stash and I've recycled the twine - it came from a rather nice box of wooden snowflakes from Sainsbury's!

Snap Happy

I'm old enough to remember these although I never actually owned or had access to one......  But I do remember being amazed at how 'instant' the photo was.  And how bad the photos were!

Camera digi is available to buy in the Dr Digi store for the retro sum of £1.50.  I've used Studio G alphabet stamps for the sentiment, X Cut star dies, a little camera charm and Promarkers for colouring.
