Daring Card Makers Challenge - Not A Card

It's time for a new Daring Cardmakers challenge and the theme this week is

Not A Card

I've made a cute gift box using a Sizzix die and an A4 sheet of cream pearlescent card.  I found some glittery silver gift wrap ribbon in my stash and attached it with some double sided tape.  The star is a Christmas tree decoration and added a pre made bow to the top and the circle was cut from the scrap from making the box.

Good luck with the challenge!

Colour Crazy Challenge - Week 47 - All Dressed Up

It's time for a new Colour Crazy Challenge and the theme as always is

Anything Goes

This week we are sponsored by All Dressed Up Stamps and I've used Christmas Present, coloured with Promarkers and glitter glue.  I found the papers in my stash and decided to use them as the colour base for the image.  I cut the image and the sentiment using Spellbinder dies with the ribbons and half pearl from my stash.

Good luck with the challenge!

I Love Promarkers - Challenge 424 - Knitty Kitty

It's Wednesday so time for a new I ❤ Promarkers challenge!  The theme this fortnight is

Christmas

And we are sponsored by Knitty Kitty and I've used the fab Knitted Kitty, coloured with Promarkers and added to a velum die cut circle (the half pearls are to hide the glue marks!)  I've used the other half of the papers from the last challenge - Snowtime Christmas 6x6 pack from Polkadoodles

The star is wooden and has been coated with glitter as I didn't like the silver pattern underneath!  I use glossy accents as I find the glitter then stays put and doesn't shed.  Good luck with the challenge!

I've made a clean and simple card using a Bugaboo image - Polar Bear, coloured with Promarkers and then added to the card blank with foam pads.  Embroidery thread and wooden snowflake are from my stash.

Good luck with the challenge!

Polkadoodles Challenge - Christmas or Anything Goes

It's time for a new Polkdoodles challenge and the theme is

Anything Goes

The DT were challenged to make a one-layer Christmas card so I've dug out the faithful Gnome Stamp and stamped it directly onto the card blank and used Promarkers to colour plus a little glitter glue here and there.  To finish, I've scored a border around the edge of the card.

Good luck with the challenge!

This week we are sponsored by Knitty Kitty Digis and I've used one of the image from the Build A Scene, coloured with Promarkers and using up some of the random papers I have in my stash.  Sentiment and letters have been cut a few times, glued together and then glittered with glossy accents and very fine glitter.  Everything else is from my stash.

Good luck with the challenge!

Daring Card Makers Challenge - Gorgeous Gifts

It's time for a new Daring Cardmakers challenge and the theme this week is

Gorgeous Gifts

I've made a cute card using a Lili of the Valley topper - this now available as a Simply Print but I bought as a topper years ago and I'm desperately trying to use up everything I already have!  Papers are also from my stash and ones that I've have for quite some time; plus the ribbon too!

Added a bit of glitter glue to the fur on the hat and some half pearls from my stash.  Good luck with the challenge!

Colour Crazy Challenge - Week 45 - Ching-Chou Kuik

It's time for a new Colour Crazy Challenge and the theme as always is

Anything Goes

This week we are sponsored by Ching-Chou Kuik and I've used the pretty Winter Snowflake image and used Promarkers to colour plus some glitter glue.  The papers are all oddments I found in my stash and I have a feeling they are really old Polkadoodles that I printed from a cd or download a long time ago.  The vellum, gems, ribbon, embroidery thread and charm are all from my stash.

Sentiment has been printed on my computer and to finish, lots of liquid pearl dots!  Good luck with the challenge!

Happy Birthday to Moo

A quick and easy Birthday card using up some of the printed oddments of papers I have in my stash.  And of course the obligatory play on words!  I've used Cuddly Critters Cow from Dr Digi, coloured with Promarkers and then added the printed panels, some liquid pearl dots, the computer generated sentiment and then some paper ribbon which matched the paper perfectly!

Daring Card Makers Challenge - November Elemental Inspiration

It's time for a new Daring Cardmakers challenge and the theme this week as it is the first Friday in the month, we have an Elemental Inspiration board.  We've now started our countdown to Christmas and all the themes until late December are all Christmas themed!  You just need to use a minimum of three elements and colours count as one:

I've made this cute card using a Christmas tree decoration that I've repurposed (in fact I actually bought it specifically in a January sale (probably years ago) to use on a card!)   I've used the word 'joy' (a Sizzix die layered 3 times for extra depth) and then glittered; the star shape on the tree, white, blue and silver and the texture of the tree plus the geometrics of the bookcase in the background.

Good luck with the challenge!

Polkadoodles Challenge - Thank You or Anything Goes

It's time for a new Polkdoodles challenge and the theme is

Anything Goes

The DT were challenged to make a Thank You card with an inky background and to keep it clean and simple.  I've used one of the quotes from the Sentimentals 6x6 paper pack and used the Squarey Swirly Hearts dies and one of the Posydoodles Basics Square dies to cut the different layers.  I've used ink sprays to create the background and then added some half pearls underneath the sentiment and scored a border around the edge of the card.

Good luck with the challenge!

Colour Crazy Challenge - Week 44 - Bugaboo

It's time for a new Colour Crazy Challenge and the theme as always is

Anything Goes

This week we are sponsored by Bugaboo and I've merged two images from the Snowmen Set 02 to create this scene.  I've used promarkers to colour and a fair bit of glitter too.  Papers are really old ones from my stash (had a tidy up a while ago and was horrified as to how many paper pads I actually had!) plus some offcuts for layers.  Sentiment printed on my computer and then added.

Good luck with the challenge!

Anything Goes

I've used papers from Polkadoodles Snowtime 6x6 paper stack and then layered the 10cm die cut letters onto kraft card and then onto the pages of the word book.  The smaller letters have been cut using off-cuts.  Added a hand written tag with twine plus half pearls.

Good luck with the challenge!

Using Up Scraps and Bob and his Balloons

I'm trying really really hard to use up all the bits and bobs of papers that I've had for absolutely ages in my stash so that predicated the colouring scheme on this Dr Digi image - Bob's Balloons.  Coloured with Promarkers and a combination of sentiment stamps have been added.  A bit of doodling and some jet black half pearls for a bit more interest.
