Welcome to another Daring Card Makers Challenge!  The theme this week is:

Let's Talk About The Weather

I've used a no longer available image from Jellypark which just sums up summer to me!  I've coloured it with Promarkers plus added to a circle die cut from Polkadoodles.  The sentiment came with the image and I've added it to a cocktail stick before adding it to the organza ribbon from my stash.

I've added a dotted line of liquid pearls around the circle and card base plus some shiny silver gems from my stash.  Good luck with the challenge!

Colour Crazy Challenge - Week 17 - Chung-Chou Kuik

It's time for a new Colour Crazy Challenge and the theme as always is

This week we are sponsored by Chung-Chou Kuik and I've used this wonderful Lil Bookworm Fairy image, coloured with Promarkers with Fourini papers and flowers.   I've used coloured pencils for the background to give it a soft edge.

Flowers and embellishments are from my stash and after lightly distressing the edges of the paper and image, I've added a dotted line with a black fineliner pen.  Good luck with the challenge!

I've made some more of the cute gift boxes using a Sizzix box die with ivory hammered card.  The patterened paper I found in my stash and I've added a little Sizzix scalloped gift tag to each.  The holly and berries I took from another Christmas gift tag and I made the bow by adding a little tree ornament from Primark

Herd You've Mooved

Sometimes its really easy to make a card - a work colleague has just moved house and this image from Dr Digi - Cuddly Critters Cow was just perfect!

I've handwritten the sentiment and used a BBQ stick for the banner.  The grass is an unbranded die and the image has been coloured with Promarkers.

Daring Card Makers - Feeling A Little Blue

I've used papers from Funky Hand - Boys and Girls which is no longer available.  I've used my own letter templates and layered them on to recycled kraft card, which I've also used for the Clearly Besotted sentiment dies and the X Cut stars.

And to finish I've added a line around the letters and card base with a black fine liner pen.  Good luck with the challenge!

Polkadoodle Challenge - Anything Goes or Spring / Summer

Welcome to a new Polkadoodle challenge!  The theme as always is

Anything Goes

However the DT were challenged with the theme of Spring / Summer.  I've made this cute mermaid using the Winnie Ballerina die for the body and Winnie Chic die for the hair.  I've added random seed beads from my stash, sticking them with glossy accents and then sprinkled fine glitter over the top.  I've also added some tiny bows from the Ballerina die to her hair and an iridescence flower I also found in my stash.

The clouds have been cut from offcuts of card and the waves are the negatives from the edge shape dies which are no longer available.

Professor Dummkopf

There are some great men's digi stamps over at Dr Digi and this one is called Professor Dummkopf.  I've used a lot of kraft card and a black sharpie and black fine liner pen!  All but the card base are offcuts of card from previous projects and some are recycled from Graze boxes.

Image has been coloured with Promarkers and I hand wrote the sentiment.

Made for a work colleague who looks rather like the image but without the lab coat!

I've used the cute Gina Caribe digi from the sponsor, coloured her with Promarkers plus watercolour pencils for the background.  For once, I matched the colours to the papers I already had in my stash as I'm trying to use up all the bits and bobs that I have.

The DT were challenged to make something Girly.  I've used the Miss Winnie die plus the gift from Winnie Chic. I've also used a tiara and wand die that I found in my stash plus sentiment dies from Clearly Besotted and the name has been made with a Cuttlebug die.

All the papers are from the Bumper Cardstock pack.  I've used one of my own number templates and added a dotted line of liquid pearls around the edge.  The card was for one of my nieces!

Nessie

A quick card to share today using Nessie from Dr Digi.  I've coloured her up with watercolour pencils and added an embossed background with a Cuttlebug folder, using an off-cut of the same card I've used for the base.

The buttons and embroidery thread are from my stash along with the little dino charm.
