Polkadoodle Challenge - Anything Goes or Christmas

The current Polkadoodle challenge is, as always:

Anything Goes

The Design Team were challenged to create something Christmas.  I've used one of the pre-coloured images from the Winnie White Christmas collection and printed it directly onto white linen effect cardstock.  I've glittered the wings and hat with stickles plus used watercolour pencils for the background which shows off the grain on the card.

I've cut the image using the Bubbleicious Frame, added it with foam pads to an offcut of card - left over from making a square card from a sheet of A4.  Ribbon and buttons from my stash.

This week we are sponsored by Bugaboo and Jodie generously provided us with images and I used Gus Wife's Birthday.  Coloured with Promarkers plus watercolour pencils for the background I then layered it onto some scrap card from my stash and added  some half pearls from my stash along with Cadbury purple ribbon.

A great image for a quick card!  I've added glossy accents to Gus' glasses and the balloons but its not shown up too well.

Crimbo Crackers Challenge 142 - Reindeer

It's time for a new Crimbo Crackers challenge and the theme for the fortnight is:

Reindeer

I've used a fairly large felt tree decoration (snipped the ribbon off that was stitched into his neck and hid it with the organza ribbon and the handwritten Sizzix tag)  The papers are Papermania - A Wonderful Christmas Time 6x6 stack and I've used beading wire from my stash (wrapped it around a pen to get the curls) along with ribbons and buttons too.

When is a sentiment not a sentiment? When it's actually a card!  Made using one of the sentiments from Dr Digi - Beer Sentiments Sheet.  I printed it directly onto the card stock after enlarging it without any loss of quality.  Coloured with Promarkers and I've added Pint Glass and coloured it with Promarkers as well, it's attached with a strip of acetate.

This week we don't have a sponsor but we do have some blog candy for a lucky winner!  I've used L'il' Miss Mermaid from Polkadoodles and coloured her with Promarkers and the background with watercolour pencils.  I've cut her out with a circular Spellbinders die and then added half pearls and beads from my stash along with some gem flowers that I found.

Crimbo Crackers Challenge 141 - Pets

Welcome to a new Crimbo Crackers challenge and the theme for the fortnight is

Pets

I've used a no longer available Jellypark image, coloured with Promarkers and I've made a shaker card with seed beads and some fake snow that I bought for 10p from the Poundshop after Christmas.  And its quite a large bag too!

Ribbons are from my stash along with the snowflake charm and I've handwritten the Sizzix die cut tag.  The border is from Memory Box - Frostivlle wreath and I've pieced it together to make it large enough and then added half pearls to some of the snowflake centres.

Weekend Walter

I made this card for a work colleague who was leaving us and fortunately has a great sense of humour!  Made using Weekend Walter from Dr Digi and coloured with Promarkers plus glossy accents on his glasses.

I've added him to the card with foam pads and the bunting is made from my own template and I've cut two stars using a little X Cut die and then added black card behind; the sentiment is handwritten.

I needed a card for one of my son's and this is the perfect image from Bugaboo!  Video Game Guy has been coloured with Promarkers after deciding which papers I was going to use - the background is watercolour pencils.  Papers are by Papermania - For Him 6x6 stack and I've used X cut star and arrow die cuts from bits of card found in my stash

The Design Team were challenged to use a design sheet from one of the collections - I've gone with Work and Play vol 7 CD.  The little character is decoupaged and I've added some die cut letters from my stash which I've coloured with Promarkers to match the backing papers.

Colour Crazy Challenge Week 35 - Di's Digis and Crafty Sentiments

The first sponsor is Di's Digi's and I've used Jungle Shelf, coloured with Promarkers and added to the card with foam pads so it gives some depth.  I've added embroidery thread over the banner plus the three little bows.  The number one is a wooden die cut which I've added lots of glitter glue over the top (I primed it first by painting with white acrylic paint).  The ribbons are from my stash.
