A quick card to share that turned out a little different from how it started; I wanted to use both Memory Box dies for the butterfly but forgot that they only partially cut the image - the 'body' bit remains uncut. So I found a scrap of card that matched the card base and cut three of the solid wings from the panel and then cut three of the wings with baby pink vellum and added the body and antenna afterwards.
The sentiment is a double layered Clearly Besotted die cut and I've dotted a border around the panel with a silver gel pen and connected the butterflies with another dotted line.
I'd like to enter the following challenges:

So pretty and inspired to use the vellum over the partially cut base butterflies. Thanks for playing along at CC&S.
ReplyDeleteA really beautiful card. I love how you placed the dots so that the eye runs up the butterflies as if they are about to take flight.....very creative. Thank you for sharing it with us at Crafting with Dragonflies. Wynn DT
ReplyDeleteYour dazzling butterflies on this simple background is divine! Love the dots, I usually do dashes, but I love the dots that continue behind the butterflies. Totally sublime! Thanks for joining us at Seize the Birthday. Hope to see you here again.
