Not like this rhino. Much to the boys' amusement as it lasted quite some time!
The babboons were also entertaining in more ways than one and provided a graphical anatomy lesson through the back window whilst it was clinging on to the rear wiper.
The lions were sizing up all the cars as I don't think they'd been fed (so we went round the lion enclosure 4 times!) and one had a good look in our car. We have a large 4 x 4 vehicle and it looked in at window height - glad we were inside and it outside!
I think there had been an accident on the M6 as we tried to get home - normally it would take around 45 mins to get to Knowsley but we ended up having a nice tour of Wigan and Shervington in our attempts to get back on the M6 which we eventually did at J27 as the previous slip roads were closed. Thank goodness for sat nav!
Well, I'm now going to make some DT challenge cards and to have a play with some new 'things' from Funky Hand. Sorry to be such a tease, but these 'things' are fab and are very new to Funky Hand and I'm dying to get my scissors on them!
Glad you enjoyed your trip to Knowsley Safari Park. It's been a while since we were last there and one of the monkeys ripped of our rear number plate. We couldn't get out of the car to retreve it, then watched while two of them broke it so we had to stop off on the way home to get a new one made.
