Time for a new Daring Card Makers challenge and the theme this week is

World Tourism Day

So make something featuring another country.  I've made this cute card using up scraps of Echo Park Be Mine papers (they really were scraps and I had to be very creative with how I used them!)  I've used Oriental Girl from All Dressed Up Stamps and coloured with Promarkers.

The DT were asked to make something Christmas and here is my creation.  I've made a gift box using a sheet of linen effect white card from my stash and then made the big bow using papers from the Heartfelt 8x8 paper pack and then added a cute pre coloured penguin from Winnie White Christmas download.

I've used one of the Posydoodles Basic Tag to cut the tag on which the image is printed.  The wooden star and buttons are all from my stash along with the bakers twine.  Good luck with the challenge!  I'd like to enter the following:

Colour Crazy Challenge - Week 37 - Fred She Said

This week we are sponsored by Fred She Said and I've used Hat Tipping Snowman and coloured him with Promarkers.  The background has been embossed with a Gemini folder.  I've made a frame using two square dies and adding a piece of acetate behind, layered with foam squares.  I've handwritten the sentiments on two die cut tags.

Crimbo Crackers Challenge - 194 - Anything Goes

I've used Hat Tipping Snowman from Fred She Said and coloured her up with Promarkers.  I've created a frame using my square nesting dies and then added a sheet of vellum behind.  The embossing has been created with a Gemini embossing folder and I added glitter glue using a snowflake scene stencil.

Dunderton Decorators Ltd

My decorating of the front room was significantly over-due and when my Dad offered to help during the summer, I jumped at the chance.  Here is the card I made to say thank you - using Dunderton Decorators Ltd.

I found some papers in my stash and used some large die cut letters (in keeping with the colour scheme) and used Promarkers to colour the image.

It's time for a new Daring Card Makers challenge and I am the host this week and my theme is

I've made a Birthday card for my eldest son who turned 16 last week and I used some really old Polkadoodles papers (from Pretty Tuff cd) that I found in my stash and used a large die cut alphabet to spell out the word sixteen.

I layered the letters onto kraft card and then cut out some stars with my X Cut die from scraps of card I found in my stash.

Desmond in Pink

Even though this digi is called Desmond the Dodo, I've decided to give him a pink tint.  Coloured with Promarkers with offcuts of Funky Hand papers that are no longer available.

I've used half pearls, embroidery thread from my stash and I handwrote the sentiment.  I've softened the background a little by adding a die cut vellum circle.
